Exams can be typed from
drafts or created from test banks. When typed,
a preliminary draft will be made available for review prior to duplication.
Completed exams ready to be picked up are kept in the secure area of ISO,
unless the order form specifically indicates the exam is to be placed
in the mailroom.
When exams have been duplicated and are ready for pick-up a notice will
be placed in the requestor's mailbox. Bring the notice to the service
window for exam pick-up.
ISO requires permission either in writing or via e-mail from faculty
who wish to have someone else pick up their exams.
Exams are stored on-line in a secure area of the CBA server to which
only ISO staff have access. When an exam is updated the current version
is retained, and a new version is created, revised and stored.
Due to computer space limitations exams are stored for a maximum
of FOUR (4) semesters from the time of creation. For example, an
exam created in Spring 2001 will be deleted in Spring 2003, and only
the most recent versions will be retained.
With the high volume of materials handled by ISO staff we are unable
to notify faculty prior to deletion of out-dated exams.
Non-dated classroom materials that require no or very infrequent revision
will be stored as long as necessary.
Other out-dated materials such as correspondence are also deleted after
four (4) semesters. |
